Rings of science.

Contrary to all the superficial fashion non-sense I gush out on a daily basis I’m a nerd deep down inside. I love computers, gadgets, HiFi and engineering just as much as I’m crazy about fashion. So this post is for all you fellow tech wizards out there.
Rings interest me as much as a vegetarian is hungry for a meatloaf. The last time I wore a ring must have been in 1996 or something, but I these rings right here are too cool not to talk about. If you paid attention during chemistry class than you have most likely figured out that the chemical symbol of the rings is what has been engraved on them. Cheapest of them all is the one made of out silver(Ag) and cost $205, a golden(Au) one sets you back $2200 while the platinum(Pt) can be yours at the bargain price of $6500. One wouldn’t expect a uranium version to hit the market soon but I’m would be willing to pick up an aluminum or made out of steel.
They are not the most romantic or symbolic rings but seem very fun collect in place in a box with a glass window. You know, the type of objects and memorabilia you proudly bring out to show guests whom you’ve invited for tea and Danish cookies.

very nice
where can you get them? who created them?
For some strange reason they only accept payment through paypal which I, if I was a potential buyer, would find discomforting. In other words I would have to swallow a lot of water before handing over $6 000 to those guys.

Those are some very interesting rings, but way beyond my price range!
For those who are looking for some terrific variety in rings, might I suggest checking out http://www.eternaltungsten.com Their rings are very reasonably priced, varied in design and of tungsten carbide, which makes them very durable for a long time.
No more scratches ruining a guy's rings just because he works with his hands.
